My personal management of online school.

Being an Asian kid and living and studying in an Asian education system, online schooling in a nutshell was and fortunately is a big relief.

Since the very start of middle school like any other student, school started to bore me a lot. And being a junior this year (11th g.) I really wanted to do something vocational which was obviously something not very possible for me to do if online schooling wasn't a option in the first place. The education system really seems to fall short at developing vocational skills, with burdening me and students around me with syllabi that's already filled with over the top, unnecessary information that never comes handy in real life scenarios. The ability to finally have a break from roughly 20 chapters a year (per subject) and do something that'll help me actually earn something in the future is just great.

But again, this was me who has a stable connection and technological support and in terms of homework pressure, it's the complete opposite this year as schools are being mad worried about their year-end grades and are just making us do a bunch of online exams which I've planned to skip and only study for the finals taking place Feb next year! Which I guess is a small ‘issue’ I'll have to deal with or rather a sweet trade off for me to develop some skills this year.
